Water filters use both mechanical and adsorption to remove unwanted elements from water. Mechanical filters out large particles such sediments, debris through a media.

The effectiveness depends on the size of the media pores. Adsorption is the process where atoms or ions from a gas, liquid or dissolved solid adheres to a surface. In this case, carbon is the filter media which has a large surface area with the capability of trapping water contaminants.

7 Steps Filtration System
The Ceramic filter’s diameter is 0.2 micron (diameter of bacteria is 0.5 – 1.0 micron). It filters all dirt, sand particles and bacteria to ensure that water is free from any harmful diseases such as typhoid, cholera and dysentery.
